help!!!how to divide one column to two columns in Access table

Could you tell me how to divide one column to two columns in Access table? For example, one column includes Company and Date of product received. I want to divide the column to one column for Company and another one for Date. But I don't know how to do it. There are huge records, it will make me crazy to divide it by mannul.

You can use Query to divide it. You should first get the format by which to separate it. For example, AAAA01/02/02 is Company name and date in [fielda]. Then you can use Company: =left([fielda],4) to get the company name, and DateIssue:mid([fielda],5,8) for date. Pls. give me a sample record.
